Dallas

I finally have a minute to write about our Dallas trip. Maddie and I had a great time!! Maddie had some wonderful quality time with her grandparents, both sets of great-grandparents, and a lot of other family members. The flights went ok. Both flights were completely full. Going down to Dallas we had a really big guy sitting next to us. I apologized at the beginning of the flight and warned him that he may be kicked (which he was repeatedly). She slept about 30 minutes. When she was awake it was exhausting because she tried to grab everything(including the coke bottle and magazine from the guy next to us), except all of the toys I brought for her. We survived though. The flight coming home wasn't as bad. She slept about 40 minutes but was happy to sit in my lap and play with toys or to look out the window when she was awake. I heard a passenger who was sitting behind us mention to her friend as they disembarked that she didn't even know Maddie was there she was so quiet. Maddie did have a screaming spell that night when putting her to bed because she was so sleep deprived, but we're back to our sleep routine now. We both had a cold the entire weekend but have recovered.

Awww! She and Carter are seasoned travellers, now! :) It started to get hard flying with Carter, too, around 6 months. He was so busy and sitting in my lap for 4 hours was NOT on his list of fun things to do. I'm glad you survived! We miss and love you!

I LOVE the bib. Priceless idea... Glad you are both feeling better and that the trip both ways went fine. :-)
