Filling their tent with toys. They still don't play together very well so I was glad to see them do something as a team.

Who's in Pappy's chair?
This was a game my dad used to play with me and my brother.
A visit to Pappy's always includes skyline chili.
We took Maddie skiing for the first time. She did great. By the end of the our time there she could go down the bunny slope by herself. We took her on the big lift once. She loved it and did well coming down the more advanced hill.
Perfect North Slopes, Indiana. Can you tell they make their own snow? :)
A conveyor belt brought you up the bunny slope.

Tired, on the way home.
We drove to Frankfort, IN to celebrate Gramps 92nd birthday. It was wonderful to see Gramps and other family members.
My cousin, Anna, was great and very helpful with the girls. This picture is taken after they both took off down the hall and Anna chased them for me.

Maddie loves puzzles so these blocks were great for her. She had so much fun.
Caitlyn was ready for her nap.
We stopped at my cousin, Caroline's, house on the way home. She took us to see some ponies. Maddie was terrified but Caitlyn loved them.
Hi everyone (for any fans still left out there). Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Part of my excuse is I dropped my nice camera in December and popped the cover off the battery compartment. The duct tape I replaced it with just doesn't do the trick. Anyways, I don't have a lot of pictures from the last few months. I do, however, have some video. My parents gave Jon a video camera for Christmas. I think he's gotten his hands on it once. I know that this time with my girls is so precious and fleeting that I want to capture as much video as possible. I think they'll enjoy watching it once they get older. The other nice thing is I only capture the good times so hopefully that's all they remember :).
Some highlights over the last few months are hosting my parents and brother in Nashville for Christmas, visiting an indoor water park hotel for a long weekend, and Maddie turning 4. Jon and my parents both made a trip to Nashville for that last event. It was tons of fun and Maddie loved her birthday party. This has been such a year of growth for her, both socially and her language development. I was really worried at last year's birthday party because she didn't always play nice with other kids. Now she loves her friends and had a wonderful time being the center of attention (like she usually is anyways) :).

Maddie is so good at puzzles! She was working on four of them here.
The Schneider family went from 2 to 3 on Febuary 2, 2008. Madeline Mae came into our lives and has been a joy. Please enjoy the videos and pictures as she grows up.
