September

It's hard to believe it's almost October. Not much to report from here. We are back to our routine of school, dance and speech. We love this cooler weather and spent lots of time at the park.

Ready for the tropics

We toured a dairy farm. Maddie was scared of the bigger cows but didn't mind the calves.

My baby loves her baby dolls.

Yumm, pasta.

Enjoying the park while Maddie is at speech.

My favorite fall outfit. Maddie has the same dress and asks to wear it every day.

Same park, different day.

My cousins came to visit for the weekend.
Sharing an apple. (Elaine, please notice what's in the background :))

Touchdown!

Pacifiers for dinner.

Learning tricks from her big sister.

Maddie posing in her ballet outfit.

Our favorite babysitter. Maddie and Caitlyn both adore her!

Meanwhile, we had a great time at the wine festival.

My favorite booth. This was my second refill.

Pappy has to share his breakfast with everyone.

First day of school

The girl's had their first day of school today. I think they'll both have a great year.

We took Maddie first to dance class, which is held in the large playroom next to her classroom. I packed a dance bag for her which included ballet shoes, tap shoes, and her outfit for school. She was a little uncertain and shy when we got there. After dropping Maddie off, Caitlyn and I went home for about 20 mins. When I dropped her off she immediately started exploring and playing. She didn't even look up when I left. I waited at Maddie's classroom for all the little dancers to finish getting dressed. She immediately hung her bag in her cubby and was ready to start the day. Her shyness had disappeared and she was telling her teacher how I bought her new lunchbox. I love their school and hope that they have a great day. It certainly is quiet around the house without my two little girls.

It's hard to believe she's just 3 in these pictures. She looks like she's ready for kindergarten.
