Jon had vacation last week. We spent the first part of the week in Dallas. This was Maddie's eighth plane trip in a year! We had a great visit with Friends and Family. On Wednesday we flew back to Nashville and left Thursday morning for a family vacation to Chattanooga. We took Maddie to the Aquarium and the Children's Discovery Museum. My parents drove back into town on Friday along with their good friends from Cincinnati. On Saturday I ran the half marathon, my mom's good friend walked the entire Marathon and my mom joined for her for the beginning and end of the race. She was going to walk the whole thing but couldn't because of knee surgery a few weeks ago. It was a great week.

Dallas has a beautiful zoo. Maddie's favorite part was the kid's area. They were giving pony rides but she wasn't interested. Now the slide she LOVED!

She skipped her afternoon nap and started to melt down towards the end of the tour. Here was her favorite part of the aquarium (the air vent).
That evening she was so overtired and completely wired so I took her for a long walk across the river to the fountains. She fell asleep on the way there. Thank goodness.
Since our hotel only had a shower we gave her a mini bath in the sink.
