Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween. Maddie was a cupcake and Caitlyn was a pumpkin. Maddie wore her costume four separate times to truly get our money's worth out of it :) Caitlyn's costume was so bulky that she couldn't fit into her car seat with it on, so she just wore hers on Halloween night. Nana came to visit for a weekend and we went to our church's Fall Festival. We also trick or treated at the zoo and then in our neighborhood Halloween night. I think we'll still be eating all of our candy this time next year.

I'm glad there's no such thing as too much pink!

Maddie is an expert with Nana's Iphone. She knows how to search through the menu and select the games. She can also scroll through the pictures and play videos.

Ready to eat.

Meal time again.

Fall Fest

I was shocked she rode on the pony!

Playing in Memorial Park, before a ranger told them not to climb on the statues.

The artist at work.

Yummy rice cereal

Hay ride at the zoo.

My little pumpkin.

The only animals who made an appearance were the flamingos

Dance, Cincy, and other fall festivities

I should really post more than every two weeks so I don't have 1000 pictures to review. In these two weeks we drove to Cincinnati to visit my parents then enjoyed the fall weather around Nashville. I love this cooler weather and the beautiful trees. So many good photo opportunities :)

Counting and rearranging the potatoes for me.

We got to watch another dance class.

Striking a pose.

Jumping over pumpkins.

Maddie's favorite part of class, the somersault.

Finishing off our milk shake on the drive to Cincy.

Maddie promised she'd hold on really tight.

We decided that wasn't the best idea so we gave her JoJo instead.

We made it!

Fishing with Pappy.

She's holding a worm. A lot braver than I am.

Gramps, Caitlyn and I found some shade to rest in.

I love my sweet baby!

It's not a visit with my parents if we don't play a little Eucher.

and wash a dog

The Cincinnati zoo is so much bigger than the Nashville one. We only saw the cats, ate lunch, and it was time to go.

Oh yeah, and a rhinoceros.

We gave Gramma a break from taking care of Maddie so that she could feed Caitlyn. My parents work hard on our visits :)

My mom gave Maddie a book to use with Cheerios. She really enjoyed it.

Pappy with his two little bandits.

Watching Barney together.

Mmmmm, rice cereal.

She did very well. Hopefully she'll be a good eater.

A hay ride at Gentry Farms pumpkin patch.

Maddie was holding Caitlyn's hand so she wouldn't be scared. What a great big sister!

Jon had two "helpers" raking the leaves.

Wearing her Cowboy bib while we watch the Cowboy game. Too bad it didn't bring them better luck. Maybe next week for Monday Night Football!

Tummy time.

Jon is such a great daddy.

Maddie had to jump in too.

There's nothing Maddie loves more than going for walks. We try to go every evening, and usually a couple of times throughout the day.
