We had such a fabulous week! During our last few days we visited a town with roaming goats and climbed to the top of a mountain (via a gondola ride).
Maddie did great with her new sleep schedule of going to bed late and waking up late. She'd sleep 12 hours at night and take about an hour and a half nap during the day. It only took her two days to adjust back to Nashville time.
Our flights home went well. The 8 and a half hour flight from Geneva actually went by fast. Maddie slept for 50 minutes on my lap and then fell asleep as soon as we landed for 5 minutes (which probably ruined any chance of taking another nap). We stayed the night in Newark because we didn't want to wait around the airport for 6 hours and Maddie was so tired. We flew home on Sunday.

Learning the basics of golf from Pappy
Recycling
Goat town
Notice Jon's shorts pocket. I really hope we washed her sippy before giving it to her.
"Umm, Gramma, I think we're being followed."
Lunch
The family
Trying out a new float.
Market in Thonon, the neighboring town.
"So we're going up here, right Pappy?"
"but I am not going in this thing!"
"Ok, maybe it's not so bad."
We hiked for about 15 minutes to reach the top.
What a view!!
Maddie wanted to walk back. She did so well on the rocky trail. She looked at her feet and concentrated on each step.
She refused to hold my mom's hand. Mom even tried to trick her but when she looked up to see it wasn't Pappy she withdrew. It was too funny. Don't worry Mom, she won't let me walk the dog or push the shopping cart if Jon's with us.
Look at that rocky trail. She did great!
Off to the pool.
Blowing bubbles
Maddie's favorite thing, Starfall.
Typical French meal. Fondue and wine.
Pitanque (French Bocci ball)
Evian downtown
