Maddie had her 12 month doctor's appointment this morning and did not like being checked out. Even when Dr. Godfrey was just looking her over she screamed and had a fit, especially when he looked in her ears. After he finished he laughed and said she has spunk and we'd have a fun year. Her weight is 19 lbs 2 oz (20th percentile) and her height is 30 1/4 inches (80th percentile).

I just finished wrestling Maddie to put the bow in her hair. It's a lot harder than it looks, especially when the subject won't stop moving.

Isn't it so funny how the toys which are not the walkers or push toys always are the ones they push around the house? Seriously, I think there is no need to buy toys - pots and pans, shoes and mail are all Owen needs. She looks like she sure is enjoying that pony though - more ways than one! :)
