Maddie and I drove to Indianapolis over the weekend to celebrate
Gramp's 90
th birthday (with the help of my kind parents who rode with us). We bought a van the weekend before so I really appreciated the DVD player and extra space on the trip. It took 6 1/2 hours on Saturday with all of our stops and potty breaks for Maddie. She didn't sleep at all but did well. We left Indy on Sunday after dinner. Maddie fell asleep 2 1/2 hours into the trip and slept the rest of the way home. I definitely prefer driving at night for that reason. We just beat all of the snow that hit Nashville that night.

Snowing again!!
Unfortunately it's snowed every Monday for the last 3 weeks so Maddie's school was canceled.
"How am I ever going to meet cute boys if you dress me like this?" (Actually she dressed herself this way.)

Haha, Jon definitely wanted his car back. We bought a Honda Odyssey. Love it!
