Bethany Beach

Maddie and I traveled to Bethany Beach, Delaware this weekend to spend some time with my good friends. It was a fun weekend, made possible by Janna and Chris with the use of Chris's family beach house. Maddie did great on the flights and despite little sleep over 48 hours was on good behaviour. She didn't care for the sand or water but was happy to sit on a beach towel and dig. This was also the first time that we met Velz's 3 month old, JP. Maddie LOVED him!!! It was the cutest thing. She wanted to hug, kiss, and hold him all the time (along with the rest of us because he's just precious). I'm so glad this weekend worked out . It can be difficult to find a good weekend with 5 schedules to work around. Unfortunately, Jon was on call so he couldn't join us. Hopefully next time.

Watching a DVD in the car ride to the airport. Velz was stuck between the two car seats. We hit traffic just when Maddie started to fuss (dirty diaper) and Velz did such a good job entertaining her!
