Jon had the entire weekend off! Ok, so it wasn't the news you were expecting but we're pretty happy about it :) Jon hasn't been off the entire weekend since the beginning of May! It was nice to have family time. Of course, Jon has a big presentation next week so on Saturday he went to the hospital to work on that since our computer was acting up. He slept in though so I think we can count it as a day off. Last night we went to the CMA Fest concert (thanks for the tickets Brad and Cynthia). It was a blast but came to discover that a free concert also comes with 5 hours of babysitting and $7 beers. It was a really good show though and a beautiful night.
Maddie insists on bringing all of her blankets and stuffed animals downstairs with her in the morning and after naps.
I dragged Jon into a booth at the mall today for a family picture :)
It's a little cheesy I know, but not quite as bad as dragging a dog into the booth. (I'm posting this just because I think it's hilarious!! As my dad was getting off the train he saw my mom and Nala exiting a photo booth. This one's a keeper!)

I love the picture of your mom and the dog. That's so funny. Glad ya'll had a good time. A fun night out is so expensive. We need family close by as well.
