It's finally Fall!

Well, Fall has finally hit Nashville. It's been absolutely beautiful here. A little drier than I would have liked since our grass needs a good watering, but I'm certainly not going to complain about clear blue skies every day. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. Nashville had a major gas shortage over the last week. Luckily I filled up before the mayhem because there were lines at all the gas stations that wrapped around corners. Jon and I were down to just my car over the weekend but since I would go crazy if I didn't have a car during the week he had to wait in line on Sunday. Luckily the situation is better now.

Maddie is doing great lately. She's such a sweet little girl! I really think she'll start crawling within the week. She will now lift up on her hands and knees and move a few steps before falling back to her belly. Last week she also has started pushing herself to a sitting position. Every time I'd go in her room after a nap or in the middle of the night she's sitting up smiling at me. Each stage really is so exciting. I know I shouldn't look forward to crawling since our house is not baby proofed yet but I think it'll be so much fun chasing her around. It'll certainly give me some exercise, which I need right now. I haven't made it to the gym in 2 weeks! Maddie had a cold last week so I didn't want to get other kids sick, and now this week I've sheltered her slightly because I don't want her to get sick again! I've used my jogging stroller a bunch over the last two weeks though. It's great exercise but Maddie hasn't been enjoying it lately so I usually only make it a mile or a mile and a half before she gets fussy.

Bath time is fun!

I thought this outfit was adorable!

I took this video because I thought Maddie was clapping every time I said the word. Apparently that was just a coincidence.

Catching up on some reading.

I love the shoes (thanks Genny!). Maddie couldn't figure out what was on her feet.
Isn't she pretty?

Okay, how many times do I have to say it? THIS BABY IS PRECIOUS!!!

I love the way she is investigating her skirt. Get used to it, baby doll, you're Becky Schneider's daughter. There are a lot more dresses and skirts and girly clothes in your future! :)
