Velz's shower

Maddie and I went out for Velz's shower this weekend. We had a great time!! We're so lucky to have such a good baby! She really likes her baby bjorn carrier. She looks around at all the lights and people. Going out to Baltimore she slept for maybe 30 to 40 minutes, so not bad. Coming back she actually fell asleep in her carrier while I was still in the terminal. I hoped she would stay asleep so I left her in the carrier when I got on the plane. Unfortunately the flight attendant noticed as we were taxiing to the runway and told me that I had to take her out for the flight. This woke her up. She got in a little nap towards the end of the flight. Both flights were completely full so I had someone sitting next to me. I was a little annoyed because on the flight today a woman sat next to me when the flight clearly wasn't full yet (I was flying Southwest so we get to choose our own seats). I would have been really mad but then the stewardess announced that the flight was completely full so I figure someone had to sit next to me and the lady was nice and liked Maddie. Anyways, it was just a little crowded and Maddie kept kicking her arm, which she didn't seem to mind. Jon couldn't pick us up from the airport so I loaded Maddie back into her carrier to claim our bags and take the shuttle to my car. She was happy the whole time, and even fell asleep in the car and stayed asleep for an hour after we got home so I could eat lunch and rest a little. Here are some pictures from our trip. Velz is getting married in 3 weeks so Jon and I will head back to Baltimore for that. I can't wait! (although I have to say I'm very relieved to have some help while traveling)
